Cornell receives second WorldDAB Award for Outstanding Service

This year’s WorldDAB Award for Outstanding Service has been given to Lindsay Cornell, Chair of WorldDAB's Technical Committee. The Award recognises an individual for an exceptional contribution to the roll-out of DAB+ digital radio and is made annually at the WorldDAB General Assembly.

How DAB+ offers a firm foundation for radio was the theme of this year's WorldDAB conference session at IBC2023. The launch of DAB+ in Ghana and emergency warnings delivered via DAB+ that could save lives were amongst the topics covered.
