Bayerischer Rundfunk launches DAB+ competition
22.04.2020 - Bayerischer Rundfunk WorldDAB Member - GermanyWorldDAB member Bayerischer Rundfunk (the Bavarian Broadcasting Organisation) has launched a competition whose lucky winners will take home one of 10 high-quality DAB+ receivers ( BR Radio 2) or in-car digital radio adapters (Dual DAB CA 10 KFZ). Commercial broadcasters in France call for government aid as revenues drop
22.04.2020 - FranceCommercial broadcasters in France are calling for help from the government as advertising revenues - their main source of income - are plummeting during the pandemic. It is estimated that these could drop by approximately 80% in April alone. Delaying the launch of national DAB+ services in France to 2021 is also a possiblity, as broadcasters try to cope with the financial effects of the pandemic.

The advert reinforces the improved quality of sound with DAB+ using the slogan "DAB+ the new sound of radio!".

RFI starts DAB+ broadcasts in Marseille
