Number one digital radio station in Australia belongs to retailer Coles

According to GfK’s DAB+ Digital Radio Report, Coles Radio is the most-listened-to DAB+ exclusive radio station in Australia with 151,000 listeners, up from approximately 140,000 listeners at the same time last year.

Increase in digital radio sales across Poland

In Poland 42, 300 digital radios have been sold according to new research from GfK on behalf of the National Broadcasting Council of Poland (KRRiT). Between January and September 2016, 15,600  digital radios were sold, up 73 percent compared to 2015.

LPR Hessen gives green light for Lulu.fm on DAB+

Recycling digital radios after the digital switchover

Parliamentarian Anne Tingelstad Wøien believes it's a pity to throw away FM radios that will no longer work after the digital switchover in Norway, so she has suggested an idea that could solve the problem. She has asked the Norwegian Government to consider a recycling scheme where old FM radios are given to those needing them in Sweden.
