From 31 January 2017, the RAS (Radiotelevisione special agency) will switch from broadcasting in DAB to DAB+. RAS has also further expanded the reception of DAB+ stations in South Tyrol with quality reception now reaching 99.3% of the South Tyrolean population.

The community radio service was recently added to the London minimux and is already on a number of digital platforms around the South and as far north as Birmingham. The station plays a mixture of nostalgic music from the 1920s to the early 1960s...

The RAS has further expanded the reception of digital radio statsions DAB+ in South Tyrol. The new stations in Enneberg, Gsies, Rabenstein, Rauth, Schlinig, Anterselva, Pragsertal and Kurzras were put into operation. This means that now 99.3 percent of the South Tyrolean population can receive 21 digital radio programs without interference.

Testing is being implemented by Latvian State Radio and Television Centre (hereinafter - the Centre) in collaboration with VAS Latvian Radio. The purpose of testing is to find DAB + suitability for the Latvian market and will last until next November.
