Czech Radio expands DAB+ multiplex
22.04.2022 - Czech Radio WorldDAB Member - Ceske Radiokomunikace a.s. WorldDAB Member - CzechiaCzech Radio, in cooperation with České Radiokomunikace, is embarking on a significant expansion of its DAB+ multiplex. The North Bohemian transmitter at Ještěd has increased its power from the original 1 kW to 5 kW, improving coverage in the Liberec and Central Bohemian regions.

13 new DAB+ stations in the Güstrow and Eisenhüttenstadt regions
21.04.2022 - Media Broadcast GmbH WorldDAB Member - GermanyWith the start of the first nationwide multiplex, DAB+ listeners in the Güstrow and Eisenhüttenstadt regions can look forward to 13 new radio stations in the best digital quality. The transmitter site in Güstrow went into operation on April 20th, the transmitter in Neuzelle near Eisenhüttenstadt is scheduled to go into operation on April 28th.

Brillux Radio starts nationwide on DAB+ in Germany

Luxembourg: Plan to launch digital radio scheduled for May
13.04.2022 - LuxembourgThe government is due to present a study on how to introduce digital audio broadcasting in Luxembourg, with the document delayed from 2021.
In September 2020, Luxembourg launched a study on the introduction of DAB+ and the results are due to be presented in May this year, prime minister Xavier Bettel (DP), who is also media minister, said in answer to a parliamentary question on Tuesday. The service was expected to launch last year.
