Czech Radio expands DAB+ multiplex

Czech Radio, in cooperation with České Radiokomunikace, is embarking on a significant expansion of its DAB+ multiplex. The North Bohemian transmitter at Ještěd has increased its power from the original 1 kW to 5 kW, improving coverage in the Liberec and Central Bohemian regions.

13 new DAB+ stations in the Güstrow and Eisenhüttenstadt regions

With the start of the first nationwide multiplex, DAB+ listeners in the Güstrow and Eisenhüttenstadt regions can look forward to 13 new radio stations in the best digital quality. Brillux Radio starts nationwide on DAB+ in Germany

Luxembourg: Plan to launch digital radio scheduled for May

The government is due to present a study on how to introduce digital audio broadcasting in Luxembourg, with the document delayed from 2021. In September 2020, Luxembourg launched a study on the introduction of DAB+ and the results are due to be presented in May this year, prime minister Xavier Bettel (DP), who is also media minister, said in answer to a parliamentary question on Tuesday. The service was expected to launch last year.
