1940s 'pop-up' station launched on DAB+ to mark VE Day

A 1940S-themed 'pop-up' radio station has launched on DAB+ in the UK to celebrate Victory in Europe Day across the country. The station - named Absolute Radio 40s - was on air for 24 hours to honour the 'inspiring generation of people who lived through the Second World War and the sacrifices they made'.

Netherlands aiming for second national multiplex by end of 2020
