Goodbye to the good old FM radio

Earlier this year Norway became the first country in the world to begin switching off FM signal in favour if DAB+. Other countries such as Switzerland have also set plans for their digital switchover. In Germany it is hoped the digital switchover will be complete by 2025.

First meeting on digital broadcasting

The Council for Electronic Media (CEM) together with the Communications Regulation Commission (CRC) held consultations with representatives of the Bulgarian National Radio (BNR), the Association of Bulgarian Broadcasters (ABRO) and FOCUS Radio in March 2017. Public broadcaster RTBF in Belgium chooses Paneda

The public broadcaster RTBF in Belgium has ordered a complete solution for its upcoming DAB roll out. It’s a major contract containing 16 Multiplexers, 192 audio encoders, data handling and management systems, all in full redundancy. Paneda and its local partner Heynen will handle installation and support. The contract also contains a support contact with 24-7 support from Paneda.
