WorldDAB Automotive 2019: DAB+ the backbone of a hybrid future

Attended by more than 200 delegates from the broadcasting, automotive and technology sectors, the event offered information on future plans for digital radio in countries across Europe and Australia, information on technical developments, an the EECC Directive.

ASBU Radio and TV Festival highlights DAB+ progress in Arab world

The Radio and TV Festival organised as part of the 50th anniversary of the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU), held in Tunis at the end of June, served as an opportunity to highlight the expansion of DAB+ outside of Europe – particularly in Northern Africa, where Tunisia has just announced the launch of regular DAB+ services.

Poland steps up DAB+ network expansion

High interest in first WorldDAB seminar on DAB+ network implementation

Delegates from across the Central and Eastern European Region attended the WorldDAB Spectrum and Network Implementation Committee’s first seminar on ‘Best practice for implementation of DAB+ SFN networks’. Organised in partnership with Broadcast Networks Europe, the seminar took place on 22 May, in parallel with the MBT conference in Budapest.
