Radioplayer, the joint platform of radio stations in Germany and active in seven other countries, is launching a new service for the automotive industry. The app offers up-to-date logos, now-playing information, personalised recommendations, search results and podcasts from the Radioplayer via an interface specifically for Connected Cars, the WRAPI (Worldwide Radioplayer API *). The technology supports hybrid switching between FM, DAB + and IP streaming. The first user of the international service is AUDI AG.

On 30 August, ARD and Deutschland radio will be promoting the advantages of DAB+ in a nationwide campaign. This year the theme focuses on the customers perceptions of DAB+ as well as expert advice on what is the best DAB+ radio for your needs.

From Wednesday the 30th of August, 3 pm egoFM will be available over DAB+ in Bavaria.

Interior equipment includes a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with DAB radio, satellite navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The DAB`N`PLAY 370 a DAB + adapter has a 3 TFT color display, Bluetooth hands-free system integrated including A2DP, music/voice playback via AUX connection or wireless via integrated FM transmitter and a plug and play installation.

With this small digital radio adapter, the DR 57 can retrofit DAB+ easily in the car. The connection between the adapter and the radio is wireless via FM transmitter or AUX connection and a variety of digital radio stations are available in brilliant sound quality.
