07.11.2019 - Paneda WorldDAB Member - National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission of Thailand WorldDAB MemberPaneda has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the University of Chiang Mai in Thailand. The MOU covers co-operations to explore the Paneda Emergency System over DAB. The University of ChiangMai will operate a DAB multiplexer system including live transmission, using DAB as carrier of important information to the public.

DAB+ network expands in Poland
06.11.2019 - National Broadcasting Council of Poland (KRRiT) WorldDAB Member - PolandThe Polish Radio and Television Broadcasting Council (KRRiT) has granted eleven new DAB+ licenses and extended 24 existing licenses for the multiplexes in Warsaw and Częstochowa. A new call for tenders for DAB+ licenses in Bydgoszcz, Kielce, Krakow, Łowicz, Łódź, Opole, Radom and Warsaw is also set to launch in coming months.

Combining the 5 cities, a total of 15,824 spots were placed on Coles' digital radio stations.

Radio Nova wants to take over RTÉ’s national DAB frequencies

Ofcom awards Channel Islands DAB to Bailiwick Broadcasting
31.10.2019 - United KingdomBailiwick Broadcasting - a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nation Broadcasting - has won the bid to provide a local DAB digital radio multiplex to the Bailiwicks of Jersey and Guernsey for a period of 12 years. The company plans to broadcast 25 services to Jersey, Guernsey, Herm, Sark and Alderney using three transmitters.

Media Broadcast expands nationwide DAB+ to Oberammergau and Untersberg
