ARN launches a pop-up digital station to support a SA Health campaign. A few days ago, an avid reader of radioinfo, Jono, wrote to us saying that he'd come across a new digital station in Adelaide called Tumbleweed that played great walking music.

The signing of a new media policy agreement by the Danish government for the period of 2012-2014 has seen a clear focus on DAB digital radio and its expansion with a proposed date for FM switchover in 2019.

The 'Euro-Chip' is an existing set of minimum features and functions, originally created by WorldDMB, for all new digital radio receivers. It is already in production and ensures the interoperability of all new digital radio receivers in European countries where broadcasters are using DAB, DAB+ or DMB, and/or analogue AM and FM.

The infotainment system has been upgraded to include the latest generation DAB radio and a new digital TV tuner, whilst the navigation system now comes with premium features such as Off-Road guidance and 4x4i.
