Arrival of Océane in DAB+ in Rennes this Tuesday
27.03.2023 - FranceRadio Océane, one of the SIPA Ouest-France group's radio stations along with Hit West, is coming to Rennes on DAB+ this Tuesday 28 March, after Nantes, La Roche-sur-Yon and Rouen. Hit West is broadcast on DAB+ in Tours and La Rochelle.
Océane, which you listen to on FM from Morbihan, Côtes-d'Armor, Finistère and the Saint-Nazaire area in Loire-Atlantique, is also broadcast on DAB+ in Nantes, La Roche-sur-Yon and Rouen.

OLDIE ANTENNE launches via DAB in four more federal states
27.03.2023 - GermanyOLDIE ANTENNE brings the milestones of music history to four more federal states and to the homes of 15 million people: In the next few days, the technical switch-on begins, and then from April the popular oldies radio station can be heard via DAB+ in Bremen and Saxony. Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein will follow in June.
OLDIE ANTENNE mainly plays the greatest hits of the 70s and 80s and is delighting more and more music lovers throughout Germany with its varied programmes. With the additional federal states, OLDIE ANTENNE is now once again expanding its DAB+ broadcast area. In future, the radio station will reach people in Bremen, Hamburg, Hesse, Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia, Saxony, Saarland and Schleswig-Holstein.

Polskie Radio launches tender for DAB+ broadcasting and coverage expansion
21.03.2023 - PolandPolskie Radio has launched a tender for the continued broadcasting of public radio stations in DAB+. The deadline for submitting bids is 21 April. According to the documentation of the procedure, the expansion of the multiplex coverage will take place by 1 October 2024 at the latest. The scope of the contract includes 'signal delivery services to broadcast stations and the dissemination of the multiplex signal in the DAB+ standard, together with the extension of broadcast coverage'.

GlitterBeam is joining the DAB digital radio multiplex in Blackpool
21.03.2023 - United KingdomLGBTQ+ radio station GlitterBeam will launch on DAB in Blackpool this Friday, 24 March.The station has been streaming online since July 2019, before being made available on small scale DAB in the North East of England, in Cambridgeshire and in Coventry. Founders Eugenio Ceriello and Michael Walton-Dalzell said: “We are extremely excited to broadcast in Blackpool, with its vibrant LGBTQ+ scene, and we hope to bring our “Music with Sparkle” from the Blackpool Tower, where the transmitter is."

Saxony: New DAB+ multiplex about to start
21.03.2023 - GermanyIn Saxony, radio listeners will get an even greater choice on DAB+ digital radio from the beginning of April. According to information from teltarif.de, the network operator Media Broadcast is expected to launch a state-wide multiplex in the Free State on Monday, 3 April. Digital radio gains ground in France with DAB+ and Radioplayer France
