The first pilot year of DAB+ in Greater Vienna has been very successful. Looking to the second year of DAB+ service, 16 stations will be heard via the mux, subject to regulatory approval.

The list of standard equipment on Expression+ cars includes cruise control, Bluetooth connectivity, LED daytime running lights and a DAB radio.

Standard equipment includes 12-speaker Harman/Kardon stereo, digital radio, reversing camera, satellite navigation accessible through an 8.8-inch touchscreen, automatic air-conditioning and a multi-information head-up display.

The WorldDAB Automotive 2016 event took place on 11 May in Brussels and more than 150 people attended. The main message coming from the event was the need to accelerate the integration of DAB+ in vehicles. WorldDAB was also present at Medpi in Monaco, sharing a stand with Pure. This provided the opportunity to share key information with players in distribution and specialised press and discuss the continued deployment of digital radio through France.
