Spring 2015 Campaign for Digital Radio+
A Spring campaign for Digital Radio+ (DAB+) was launched on the national radio stations. Here listeners are reminded of the benefits of digital radio. Former radio deejay Leo van der Goot is featured in the ad spot.The Spring spot on the radio is one of the campaigns to be launched this year for DAB+. This year again various activities are organised to increase awareness of DAB+. At the AutoRAI event a presentation will be given to inform the automotive industry about digital radio. Minister Kamp will hold talks with the automotive industry to deliver more new cars as standard with a DAB+ digital radio.
2014 Campaigns
Digital Radio Week
From October 13th to 17th 2014 the national public and commercial radio stations held "Week Digitale Radio" and devoted extensive attention to digital radio as DAB+ is being promoted in the Netherlands. The way in which the attention was paid varied according to each radio station.
Radio.NL set the action of the various radio stations in a row.
100% NL gives each program presented a 100% NL DAB+ radio;
Radio 10 gave each voter on the Top 4000 that comes in the broadcast a DAB+ radio;
On Q-music, each candidate Sound on the radio, were given a red DAB+ radio;
Sky Radio Listeners Every day, there was a chance to win a DAB+ radio by a code word to text and from the station;
Classic FM everyday gave a DAB+ radio away via the website;
NPO Radio 6 Soul & Jazz shows gave DAB+ radios away via the Internet and the App from the station. Listeners were in with a chance of winning by sending their favorite place to listen to Radio 6 in a photograph;
NPO Radio 1 listeners could win a DAB+ radio alarm clock by sending the slogan "Wake up NPO Radio 1 ...";
NPO Radio 2 shows gave DAB+ radios away in various programs;
Radio 538 and Slam FM gave DAB+ radios away via the Internet;
BNR gave attention t DAB+ on the Friday during the National Autoshow;
FunX gave DAB+ radios away on the radio and via the website;
Efteling Radio gave DAB+ radios away during the Wonderful Afternoon Show.
The "Week Digitale Radio" was backed with a radio commercial that was played at various stations for one week.

The campaign for DAB+ in The Netherlands (Digital Radio+), "Let's get Digital," officially launched in May 2014. The campaign was supported by all national radio stations and aired online and TV.
The campaign was developed jointly by the national commercial and public radio stations, supported by the Ministry of Economic Affairs.

Several journalists have written articles on the campaign and visuals from the campaign are being used in point of sales materials. Informative brochures are being distributed by retailers and radio manufacturers.

NPO Radio 6 is running a promotion to give away free digital radios. Listeners need to take a selfie from the place they want to put their digital radio. Radio 6 Soul & Jazz is a digital-only station from the Netherlands public broadcaster NPO.
