Derbyshire DAB launch line-up revealed

Bavaria Radio continues to expand the reach of its DAB+ network

Bayerischer Rundfunk (Bavaria Radio) will launch a new DAB+ multiplex on the first of July from the 1686 meter high Laber in Oberammergau. The addition of Oberammergau on channel 11D will mean that Bavaria Radio will have 23 digital stations available throughout Bavaria. 93% of the highways are already covered, along with 89% of the population.

Gaydio pops up in Scotland for the Summer

Manchester-based LGB&T radio station Gaydio is to broadcast on DAB in Scotland for the first time this summer. The station will broadcast across Central Scotland (including Glasgow, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Paisley & Stirling) from 14th July to 31st August. The station will broadcast throughout the Pride Glasgow festival, and the Commonwealth Games.
