Norway begins switching off analogue radio
11.01.2017 - NorwayNorway has become the first nation in the world to phase out analogue radio signals. Starting at 11.11am local time on Wednesday (10.11 GMT), it will begin closing down its FM signal in the expectation that by the end of the year only Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) will be available.

10.01.2017 - NorwayA new era for radio is heralded this week as Norway becomes the first country in the world to begin the process of switching off national FM transmissions to complete the transition to fully digital radio services.
