Two new DAB+ stations in Bavarian city of Augsburg

The Media Council of the Bavarian State Center for New Media (BLM) has approved two new stations for Augsburg for coverage area 9C. Radio Schwabmünchen and Radio Fantasy CLASSICS joins 11 other stations approved and assigned by the BLM.

GFK Italy Survey: almost 4 million have a DAB+ receiver

New DAB+ licences issued to five Slovenian radio stations

The Slovenian Agency for Communication Networks and Services (Akos) has granted new licences for five radio stations to begin broadcasting on DAB+, bringing the total to 18 stations now able to broadcast on DAB+ in Slovenia. Further requirements including transmissions beginning three months following the awarding, and that the stations comply with network operator RTV Slovenija on details surrounding transmission.
