NPO wants 95% DAB+ coverage by 2017
21.11.2011 - NetherlandsThe Netherlands Public Broadcaster (NPO) has submitted a tender for a DAB+ contract that involves a rollout plan for 95 percent coverage by 2017. The NPO made the announcement at the WorldDMB Marketing Seminar in The Hague, which hosted executives from the digital radio industry, mainly from the Netherlands and Belgium

NDR to start DAB+
18.11.2011North German Broadcast is to start broadcasting DAB+ from the 22 November 2011. The broadcasts will initially be received in the metropolitan areas of Hanover, Hamburg, Kiel and Schwerin and in the Lueneburg Heath (Visselhövede transmitter) and Greater Bremen, Delmenhorst.
