DAB+ sales booming in France
28.09.2018 - FranceAccording to a recent GfK survey, between July 2017 and June 2018, more than 100,000 DAB+ receivers were sold in France. That's 26% more than the same period a year earlier. Globally, growth is 13% in the first half of 2018.

28.09.2018 - GermanyAt a local radio workshop held in Dusseldorf last week, the SPD party of German state North-Rhine Westphalia (NRW) has called on the government to coordinate a meeting involving all stakeholders for radio in the state to promote the entry of DAB+ into the market. Czech Radio announces DAB+ roadmap to cover 75% of population with digital radio
27.09.2018 - Czech Radio WorldDAB Member - CzechiaCzech Radio plans to open up band III to DAB+, enabling up to 800 regional stations to broadcast on digital radio for the first time. This was announced at the 2018 Media Reflection conference on Tuesday, where an indicative roadmap was published showing the broadcaster's intent to cover 75% of the Czech population with DAB+ services by the middle of 2019.

Deutschlandradio to become first German public broadcaster to switch from FM to DAB+
