The portable digital radio Auna Chord comes in classic retro design and can be used anywhere thanks to the use of batteries. With DAB and DAB+ the Auna Chord is well equipped and is priced at 59.90 EUR.

The vehicle comes equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 17-inch alloy wheels, hints of leather inside and a full suite of DAB radio and Bluetooth connectivity.

The “mini-mux” in Portsmouth, England, has recently celebrated its first year of being on-air. The existing DAB multiplex covering the area is designed to cover a much larger footprint of 1.2m people, and has six transmission sites. The transmitter covering Portsmouth runs a power of 90kW ERP.

Roberts Radio will be showcasing its innovative R100 device at IFA2016. The R100 is a multi room device that not only facilitates DAB+ but also streaming services like Spotify. It can also be used to access your own music from your smartphone, tablet or computer.

On Monday, 29.08.2016, radio programmes on ARD and Deutschlandradio were devoted to exploring the benefits of DAB+. The listeners were actively involved in the day of special programming and were able to win DAB+ devices and DAB+ enabled smartphones. It is estimated that more than 35 million listeners tuned into the special programmes.
