KommAustria has opened applications to tender for DAB+ in Austria. Applications must be received by the media authority by 12 June 2017 at the latest.

MTVNL has announced that popular radio station LXClassics will now be broadcast via DAB+.

A digital radio help team consisted of employees from NRK, P4 and Digital Radio Norway are on the road to provide information and assistance during the digital radio switchover in Norway.

In South Tyrol, RAS has completed the transition from DAB to DAB+ across all of its stations. In Alto Adige RAS digital radio provided now reaches 99.3% of the population, with its stations able to be heard in 25 tunnels with a length greater than 500 meters.

From the 31st of January, DRadio Wissen is now also available in South Tyrol. It allows the further spread of the young information radio station from Deutschlandradio as a result of RAS transitioning its broadcasts from DAB to DAB+.

Germany Radio Director Dr. Willi Steul welcomes the dissemination via DAB+: "Digitalradio is on the advance all over Europe. In South Tyrol, the listeners can look forward to the excellent sound and more programme diversity by switching from DAB to DAB+."

The RAS converted all of its digital radio programmes from DAB to DAB+ and put the DRadio Wissen radio station operation. The RAS now distributes 22 radio stations in South Tyrol in the high-quality DAB + standard.

The RAS has now officially completed the transition from DAB to DAB + in South Tyrol, still improving the quality of reception of radio stations.
