Public broadcaster Latvian Radio will be testing digital audio technology over a one-year trial period along with the country’s National Electronic Mass Media Council (NEPLP).

Public Broadcaster Latvian Radio will test digital radio technology in collaboration with the Latvian State Radio and Television Center over a period of one year. The National Electronic Mass Media Council has decided not to offer the opportunity to commercial broadcasters during that time.

IRT's HybridRadio app is now available on the Google Play Store for the LG Stylus 2 DAB+ smartphone with many hybrid radio features such as Radio-EPG, Radio-DNS, slide shows and radio texts.
