Digitalradio Deutschland and the BBC have teamed up to jointly support the introduction of a pan-European electronic receiver chip for radio equipment by the EBU.

A group of radio hosts and staff from the troubled Digital Broadcasting Corporation will host what they are calling a 'gathering' outside government headquarters this afternoon, to urge the administration to save the cash-strapped station.
