Worldcast enhances Audemat DAB probe

Improvements to the Audemat DAB probe include the decoding of FIG tables for a more detailed analysis of the streaming content received; and the display of real audio and PAD bit rates, so broadcasters can visualise the real audio quality and have the possibility to listen to radio remotely. The Audemat DAB probe is designed to monitor DAB signal quality and service continuity at the transmitter site or in a coverage area.

New DAB+ stations to launch in Toulouse

German-speaking BRF2 station starts DAB+ broadcasts in Wallonia, Belgium

DAB + in Bavaria: every third person has a receiver

Over 31 percent of the population aged 14 and over in Bavaria has access to at least one DAB+ receiver at home and/or in the car - approximately 3.5 million people, and about 600,000 more than a year ago. The number of DAB+ car radios in the Bavarian state has also increased by about 180,000 over the past 12 months.
