In the event of a digital radio switchover across the UK, the BBC will be required to build out its national DAB network even further, according to the government White Paper on BBC Charter Renewal, published recently.

DAB listeners in the Greater Manchester area will need to retune their digital radios on Wednesday 25th May, as part of a reconfiguration of local DAB services that will help improve coverage.
