With less than 100 days until the digital switchover in Norway, Digital Radio Norway will be travelling the country in their caravan to educate the public about digital radio.

Bloomberg Radio joins London DAB via an agreement with Digital Radio Group, a consortium of Bauer, Global, Wireless Group and Carphone Warehouse. Traffic and travel reports will be broadcast every 15 minutes on weekdays from 6-10am and again from 3-8pm.

Jazz fan Will Young will host a show on the BBC Music Jazz DAB station this year. He will be given free rein to play his favourite jazz classics, with a planned playlist including songs from Tony Bennett, Jill Scott, Billie Holiday, Nina Simone and the Oscar Peterson Trio.

A star-studded presenting line-up has been revealed for 2016’s BBC Music Jazz pop-up digital radio station, with Will Young among the talent set to bring jazz classics to the airwaves. The pop up digital station will broadcast from10-14 November 2016.

Public broadcaster Latvian Radio will be testing digital audio technology over a one-year trial period along with the country’s National Electronic Mass Media Council (NEPLP).
