Digital broadcasting in Switzerland switches to DAB+ as standard

Switzerland has now begun broadcasting digital radio via DAB+ exclusively. Gradual shutdown in analog FM-broadcasting in Switzerland, with its complete replacement to broadcast in DAB+ standard is scheduled to begin in 2020 .

SRG and private radios stations cooperate

The radio stations "Radio Südostschweiz", "radio 3i +" and "Radio Fiume Ticino +" are broadcasting in better quality via DAB+. The SRG created space for three private radios in the areas of Italian-speaking Switzerland and Graubünden on their SRG-DAB+ layer by reducing the bandwidth of the SRG transmitters.

DAB stakeholders meet in Vienna

Italian province of South Tyrol wants to start digital switchover in 2017

Regional digital radio broadcasting to grow in Bavaria
