Matt Hancock MP has called for producers and suppliers of radios to ensure all new devices are digital by default. The Minister of State for Digital was speaking at The Drive to Digital event on Tuesday afternoon, in anticipation of the likelihood of a future transition from analogue to digital broadcasting in the UK.

Trend Media Group BV and the Radio Continu Foundation have obtained licenses for DAB+ broadcasting in the Netherlands. Trend Media will broadcast in parts of North Brabant and Limburg.
