Slovenia plans to switch to digital radio for 2022

Slovenia proposes digital radio switchover date
10.05.2018 - - SloveniaSlovenia’s Broadcasting Council has set out a potential path to DSO, adopting a decision for the main Slovenian radio stations to switch to digital on 22.02.2022. DAB+ development in central and eastern Europe will be one of the topics at MBT 2018, which takes place this year in Vodice, Croatia from May 23-25.

An update from the WorldDAB Automotive Working Group

Since the 2017 WorldDAB Automotive Event, we have developed a set of digital radio UX guidelines for broadcasters and OEMs, worked closely with industry groups to develop guidelines on best practice for broadcasters in marketing DAB+, and a specialised Task Force has been commissioned to assess the impact of Antenna and Receiver Performance. Romania reveals results of public DAB+ consultation
10.05.2018 - RomaniaThe Romanian regulator ANCOM has said it will propose legislative amendments ahead of a new DTT tender due to take place in the second half of the year. This follows the results of a public consultation on the spectrum available in the FM band (174-230 MHz) aimed at transforming a VHF digital TV multiplex into four DAB+ national multiplexes.
