A national multiplex is operating on air by the national public broadcaster ONT covering 75% of the country’s 11.7 million inhabitants.
The multiplex, which hosts 18 DAB+ stations, covers the capital of Tunis as well as other regions in the north-eastern part and the middle of the country, including Ariana, Ben Arous, Nabeul, Sousse, Monastir, Manouba, Jendouba, Zaghouan, Bizerte, Mahdia and sfax.
According to Tunisia's DAB+ rollout plan, population coverage should reach 95% by 2022, and 99% in 2023.
