As of H1 2018, the percentage of new cars equipped with DAB+ technology in France stands at approximately 20%. However, this figure is expected to grow significantly following the triggering of the French receiver law, which will require all automotive receivers in cars sold within 18 months of the law being triggered to include DAB+ capabilities.

The automotive after sale manufacturers are also proposing a wider range of DAB+ car radio. Pioneer, Clarion, Alpine or Kenwood, among others, are all offering solutions in France.
