Denmark - Services on Air - History

In this country there are two regular national multiplexes andone trial local DAB+ multiplex on air. There are presently nine public services (plus a news loop) and five commercial radio services on air, all of which are broadcast nationwide on DAB. Multiplex 1: DR’s DABregular services on multiplex1 include: DR P1 (simulcast), DR P2 (simulcast/exclusive),DR P3 (simulcast), DR P5 (simulcast/exclusive), DR P6 Beat (exclusive), DR P7 Mix (exclusive), DR P8 Jazz (exclusive), DRR amasjang (exclusive), DR MAMA (exclusive), DR Regular services. Multiplex 2: DR’s DAB regular services on multiplex2 include: DR Nyheder (exclusive) and the commercial radioDAB services on multiplex include: NOVA fm (simulcast), PopFM (simulcast), Radio 100(simulcast), The Voice (simulcast), 24syv (simulcast).

A local DAB+ trial multiplex carries up to nine services including; Retro Radio (simulcast), Rockkanalen, Interviewkanalen, US Radio (simulcast), Radio Humleborg/Radio Nord Fredensborg (simulcast),Radio 10FM (simulcast), Radio HLR (simulcast), Radio Halsnæs (simuicast) and GlobalFM.
