Croatia - Services on Air - History

Please note:

(a)    These web pages are updated regularly to reflect current services on air, however they may not be exactly up to date.

(b)    The logos shown on these pages are for illustrative purposes only – manufacturers and broadcasters are directed here for information on implementing station logos.

The trial is starting with the same bitrate for all audio services, 72kbps. All services are using 3A protection. The parameters are subject to change since this is a trial.
No separate data services at this moment. Just DLS; text and logo of each station.
OIV is negotiating with some of the broadcasters to put in SLS service, but it’s not in yet.
The ensemble ID is C201 (C for Croatia, 2 for regional coverage, 01 as first MUX in this area).

 Operational sites:

  1. Sljeme, 10 kW ERP, channel 9C
  2. Ucka, 8 kW ERP, channel 11C
  3. Ivanscica, 1.3 kW ERP, channel 9C
  4. Vidova Gora (Brac), 5 kW ERP, channel 10A
  5. Belje „Duro Podboj“, 5 kW ERP, channel 8C

A network extension was realised in March 2020. As part of the extension, the following sites went into operation:

6. Srd, 10 kW ERP, channel 10

7. Ugljan – Mala Glava, 2.5 kW ERP, channel 10

8. Psunj, 1 kW ERP, channel 8C

Coverage now stands at around 88% for outdoor and around 53% of population for indoor reception.
