Croatia - Coverage - History

21.11.2017

OIV started 20 November 2017 with four transmitters sites in north-west Croatia;
- Sljeme, with 5kW of radiated power (ERP), on channel 9C
- Ivanscica, 1.25kW ERP, channel 9C
- Mirkovica, 1kW ERP, channel 9C
- Ucka, 8kW ERP, channel 9C
The first three transmitters will work in SFN, and Ucka is seperate. Coverage according to OIV's calculations should be 1.6 million for indoor and around 2.1 million for outdoor reception, please see coverage map below.

DAB coverage existed in northern Croatia around the capital city of Zagreb and its suburbs. The network could potentially reach 1.2 million people, or around 20% of the Croatian population.
