German public broadcaster NDR has improved DAB+ network coverage in Schwerin, near Hamburg.

Frontier Smart Technology have launched the world’s first implementation of a combined station list for domestic digital radios. The Frontier solution shows the full range of FM and DAB/DAB+ stations in a single list, removing the duplicate stations, and allowing you to listen to all stations without switching between FM and DAB modes to find your favourite station. The new technology could make digital radios easier to use and will be in digital radios in the 2nd half of 2021.

The Dutch spectrum regulator AT has announced an auction of twelve national licences for DAB+ radio. Bidding for the 12-year licences will start on 22 June.
