09.09.2015 - GermanyIn Germany, 10% of households now own a DAB+ radio. These figures were announced at the IFA technology trade fair in Berlin, Germany. The figures also show that 1.9 million cars in Germay are equipped with DAB+ reception.

Second-Most Popular DAB+ Station in Australia Belongs to Retailer
09.09.2015 - AustraliaInterestingly, the second-most popular DAB+ only station is Coles radio—a station designed to be used in the more than 750 supermarkets that Coles has in the Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide. Listeners can also hear the station as they drive away from the store. Coles radio attracts about 140,000 listeners per week.

London trial multiplex testing
09.09.2015 - United KingdomThe new small scale DAB trial multiplex for London, operated by UDAB, is now testing from one of its two transmission sites in the capital.
Once fully launched the multiplex, which is broadcasting on VHF Block 9A will cover Central London out to the A406 North Circular Road and A205 South Circular Road. In the meantime, the test transmissions cover a smaller area.
