DAB+: Two new locations in Hessen

Hessischer Rundfunk is all set to expand its DAB+ network to supply two additional locations in the German state of Hessen from summer 2017. The new sites will be at Biedenkopf Sackpfeife in the Rothaargebirge and Hoher Meissner in the north-east of Hesse.

The latest on DAB+ in the Netherlands

German commercial radio gains access to Hamburg region via DAB+

Until recently, there was a clear geographic split in Germany in terms of DAB+ radio. This changed last September, when RSH, the most popular station in the state of Schleswig-Holstein, started broadcasting via DAB+ in the Hamburg region. Today, with the regional public broadcaster NDR, and the national public and commercial stations, a total of 32 radio stations can be received in Hamburg via DAB+.
