The National Communications Authority (Nkom) has received a license application for Local DAB in local area number 9, Ringerike, Hallingdal and Numedal.

Media Authority has received an application for a construction license for creation and operation of transmitters for digital local radio in Region 9: Ringerike, Hallingdal and Numedal. The region currently has no local radio offerings at DAB. Interested parties who wish to submit competing applications must do so by 22 December 2017.
