Switzerland’s Federal Roads Office has announced that that radio systems in the motorway tunnels for the DAB+ digital radio reception will be expanded throughout Switzerland. In Rome, RAI Radio has announced the startup of two new DAB+ radio programmes in June, with RAI director Roberto Sergio reiterating the network's commitment to DAB+.

Digital radio listening is expected to grow to 70% by 2023 in the Netherlands, according to findings by Digital Radio NL. In 2019, the government will auction a frequency channel so that around 9 to 15 additional DAB + stations can be broadcast nationwide throughout the Netherlands. The week is an initiative of Digital Radio NL, the joint venture of public and commercial radio stations, for the promotion of digital radio over the air in the Netherlands.

50 radio stations in France will begin broadcasting in DAB+ on 19 June, and will be marked by a launch event in Lille. The event will also mark the implementation of a new calendar that will schedule DAB+ services to launch Lyon, Strasbourg, Rouen, Le Havre, Nantes, Bordeaux, and Toulouse.

Under "All DAB+ Radios" users can use the filters to select digital radios by category, equipment and manufacturer. The initiator of the website is Sylke Will. The PR manager has been promoting the new DAB+ reception standard since 2011.

Installation of DAB+ radio has been completed in 27 tunnels in northeastern Switzerland.
