Two million Dutch people listen to radio via DAB+

Over 719,000 DAB+ receivers now sold in The Netherlands
03.10.2017 - NetherlandsMore than 719,000 DAB+ radios have already been sold in the Netherlands. This was announced during Digital Radio Day. Meanwhile, 13% of Dutch population say they listen to radio via DAB+. During the last 12 months, 154,000 DAB+ radios for cars have been sold including cars delivered with DAB+ as standard.

Doing the DAB event heads for Belfast

Hancock’s half-hour included a plea to radio receiver manufacturers to make their sets “digital by default” - a rather political phrase by which he meant that analogue AM/FM radios should be removed from the shelves.
