OFCOM Paving the Way for DAB+ in the UK

The U.K. communications regulator, OFCOM, is considering changes in the Digital Radio Technical Code, which would likely precipitate the introduction of the DAB+ standard. The proposed new Digital 2 multiplex could therefore contain a mix of original DAB and DAB+ services.

Poland Convenes Digital Radio Conference

After the digitization of television, Krajowa Rada Radiofonii i Telewizji plans to tackle the radio market. Public-service broadcaster Polskie Radio began this transition in October 2013, broadcasting digitally in Warsaw and Silesia. Second DAB+ Network Makes its Debut in Switzerland
