Regional offering on DAB+ continues to grow

FM shutdown goes according to plan and receives good response

Now all nationwide radio broadcasts in southern and western Norway are on DAB. The latest listener figures from the first region that turned off FM, Nordland, show that just as many people listen to the radio now as before the switch off.

Now the station has nearly 300,000 daily listeners, who listen for an average of an hour and 46 minutes each day. It's a listening time that only the biggest radio channel in Norway, NRK P1, reaches.

DAB+ reaches milestone of two million listeners
04.10.2017 - NetherlandsOver two million people now listen to radio on DAB+. The use of DAB+ has tripled since 2015 and has achieved a next stage in its product life cycle: the adoption by the mass market. In the Netherlands, the number of DAB+ receivers, including car radios, that have now been sold is approximately 719,000.
