France is at an important stage in the deployment of digital radio. Norway will soon complete its shift to digital broadcasting. And it is in this environment that the WorldDAB 2017 General Assembly will take place in Paris and the future of digital radio will be discussed.

To address these questions, the WorldDAB team gathered existing research from around the world and spoke to experts from the radio and mobile worlds to better understand the issues and challenges. The outputs from this work include a factsheet, slideshare and interview with a 5G expert.

The conference, for which the organisation is still accepting registrations, will serve as a platform for discussions on the future of digital radio and DAB+ deployments around the world. It will also give an overview of the advances made in the transition to digital radio and the impact of DAB + on the future of radio.
