Record sales of DAB receivers in 2017
22.05.2018 - United KingdomThe recent WorldDAB Automotive conference was the occasion to announce record sales of DAB+ receivers in the world in 2017, with 12 million receivers sold. Nearly half (5.9 million) of sales of these receivers have been in original equipment in cars. Cumulative sales of DAB / DAB+ receivers have now reached 65 million.

Cars drive digital radio surge in Australia
21.05.2018 - Australia“More than 560,000 of the new cars sold in 2017 were fitted with DAB+ radio,” said CRA chief executive officer, Joan Warner. The number of DAB+ digital radios generally in Australia continues to grow with strength, with the latest figures reflecting an increase of 24% in units in the past 12 months.

DAB+ test broadcasts take place in Lille
19.05.2018 - FranceIn the region around the French city of Lille, the first test broadcasts with DAB + have been broadcast since this week. The broadcasts will officially start on 19 June. This is part of the French government's digitisation plan to ensure all major urban regions and motorways have DAB+ coverage by 2020.
