Layzer Radio expands to DAB+
23.07.2022 - NetherlandsFrom this week, the online radio station Layzer Radio can also be heard in parts of the Netherlands via the digital airwaves on DAB+. According to its website, the radio station brings a refreshing mix of pop, house and R&B music. The radio station broadcasts via the DAB+ in the northern part of North Holland and in the Almere region.

Kermis FM starts again, nationally via DAB+
22.07.2022 - NetherlandsOn Friday 22 July, at 3pm Kermis FM starts its broadcasts. The temporary radio station can be heard nationwide via DAB+.
Kermis FM is an event channel that broadcasts during the Tilburg Kermis (Funfair). At 3pm, DJ Lars Boele will start the first record and Kermis FM has officially launched. The station can then be followed for ten days via radio, television and the Internet. “As always, our programming is a mix of new talent and established names. You can hear, among others, Domien Verschuuren and Anton Griep (Qmusic), Jordy Graat (Omroep Brabant), Bas Menting and Mart Meijer (Radio 538), Herman Hofman (NPO 3FM), and Barry Paf (100%NL)." The radio station can be heard almost nationwide via DAB+ on channel 7D.

Grand Prix Radio added to DAB+ network MTVNL
22.07.2022 - NetherlandsGrand Prix Radio can be received in large parts of the Netherlands on DAB+. Since Friday, the station of Formula 1 commentator Olav Mol can be heard via the MTVNL network on channel 7D. The radio station still has the broadcasting rights for radio in our country this year. Partly because of this, the listening figures of Grand Prix Radio have already risen sharply in recent months.

DAB+ in Baden-Württemberg: SWR is now broadcasting from Schwäbisch Gmünd
22.07.2022 - GermanyYesterday, Südwestrundfunk (SWR) activated the Waldstetten-Gmünd transmitter location for its DAB+ network in Baden-Württemberg.
According to SWR, the new transmitter improves the DAB+ coverage in Schwäbisch Gmünd and Waldstetten as well as along the Rems (B29) between Aalen and Schorndorf. The SWR multiplex for northern Baden-Württemberg (channel 9D) is broadcast, which includes the SWR4 regional windows for Stuttgart, Mannheim, Heilbronn, Karlsruhe and Ulm.

Le Figaro to launch on DAB+
21.07.2022 - FranceLe Figaro announces that three DAB+ radio services will be launched in the second half of 2022, while a TNT (DTT) channel in Ile-de-France will be created by the end of the year.
Laurence de Charette, who led the editorial staff of lefigaro.fr, will now be in charge of all of the group's audiovisual activities - existing (Le Figaro Live) or in the development phase (TNT and DAB), in conjunction with SECOM, the audiovisual partner of the Figaro Group. She will be responsible for developing the editorial offer of Le Figaro on social networks as well as the offer of audiovisual programmes (podcasts and documentaries).

Radio Goldies launched in northern Switzerland via DAB+
20.07.2022 - SwitzerlandWith Radio Goldies, another radio station can now be heard via DAB+ in northern Switzerland. The oldies station from the Swiss Mittelland was activated on the corresponding mux of the operator SwissMediaCast on channel 7A.
The offer on Nordschweiz-Mux now includes a total of 18 stations. Radio 32 Goldies has been around since 2001. Musically, the station focuses on the best hits from the 50s to 80s, supplemented by hourly news. The oldies station is an offshoot of the local station Radio 32 from Solothurn and is therefore part of the radio portfolio of CH Media (Radio 24, Radio Argovia, Radio Bern1, FM1, Radio Pilatus, Flashback FM, Radio Melody, Virgin Radio Switzerland).

New Digital Radio NL campaign targets cars with DAB+ as standard
19.07.2022 - Digital Radio NL WorldDAB Member - NetherlandsDigital Radio NL has launched a new campaign. A unique form of outdoor advertising that allows one-on-one communication during refuelling: digital displays from CS Digital Media at petrol stations. Smart use is made of vehicle detection during refuelling. Only cars equipped with DAB+ as standard, newer than December 2020, will be targeted. Ten different DAB+ messages from DJs/presenters from various radio stations are shown on the displays parallel to the broadcast schedule of their radio station.

CRTV: immediate approval of the PNAF DAB + for radio
19.07.2022 - ItalyAfter over twenty years of waiting, radio will finally have a plan for the definitive development of DAB. The Communications Authority has prepared and submitted to the trade associations, as required by law, the first frequency allocation plan for digital radio DAB+ based on international agreements with almost all neighbouring countries and in compliance with the results of the 2006 Geneva International Conference. This finally guarantees the stability and coordination of planned resources. Approval is scheduled for July 27th. CRTV asks that this timing not be subject to postponements, as happened last year due to the lack of agreement with foreign countries on the Adriatic side.
