Deutschland radio and network operator Media Broadcast have announced a expansion of their digital radio network which will start this year. The network is planned to be expanded from 61 transmitter sites to 82.

The station will launch on 27th June 2015, and will be available across the Greater London area, reaching a potential 11.7 million listeners. Mi-Soul's music output features the past, present and future of soulful music, including House, R&B, Rap, Reggae or Soul itself, stretching over the last 4 decades.

This new DAB modulator supports simultaneous streaming of multiple ensembles, allowing for a direct link between the IZT DAB Content Server and the IZT S1000 with the EDI protocol.

Areas under consideration are Nantes, Lyon, Strasbourg, Lille, Bethune-Douai-Lens, Valenciennes, Mulhouse, Metz, Nancy, Bayonne, Le Havre, Brest, Grenoble, Bordeaux, Toulouse Rennes, Clermont-Ferrand, Montpellier and Toulon Rouen.

This month, French regulator CSA will launch a public consultation into the deployment of DAB+ in the metropolitan areas of France.
