During December, Initiative Digitalradio Deutschland will have a virtual advent calender raffling off 24 DAB+ receivers in the run up to Christmas.

Receiver brand Sonoro have created a visual overview of DAB+ services currently broadcasting in Germany.

Swiss radio station Radio BeO has begun it's own DAB+ trial. The test will run from 26 November until 26 December 2015 with the aim of exploring to what extent the transmitter site is suitable for the target coverage area.

Lord Mayor of Plymouth, Councillor Dr John Mahony, has kicked off an awareness campaign in Plymouth for four new radio transmitters. Over 51% of homes in Devon have a DAB digital radio, and 42.2% of radio listening hours are to digital platforms. Until now many listeners in Plymouth have not been able to receive any of their great local stations via DAB digital radio.

From today, radio listeners in Wast Friesland will be able to receive their NDR stations on DAB+. In addition to NDR stations such as NR1 Niedersachsen, NDR Kultur, NDR Info and N-JOY, listeners will be able to tune into exclusive digitalchannels NDR Blue NDR Traffic and NDR Ifoo Special heard.

Town and Country Broadcasting is launching two new radio stations in the next couple of months, Nation Xmas and Nation Gold. The Christmas station will launch 1st December on DAB in Cardiff/Newport and the Mid and West Wales Multiplex in mono.

Launching on Monday 28th December, Nation Gold from Town & Country Broadcasting will be available to listeners in the Cardiff and Newport area as well as across many parts of south western Wales on DAB digital radio.

NRK has decided to improve DAB coverage at various locations in Finnmark, as well as along major roads during 2016. The coverage will also be reinforced in certain towns where coverage is weak.

Mediasat is a newcomer to the digital radio field. Under the brand Lenuss they have brought out six DAB+ receiver models with different colours and Bluetooth.
