It’s been a good quarter for Real Radio and Smooth Radio as the group has increased audience figures both quarter on quarter and year on year.The group’s only digital spin-off station Smooth 70s has also seen an increase in listeners, making it the third biggest digital-only commercial station behind Planet Rock and Absolute 80s.

Late July saw a three-day DAB+ Technology Workshop and Transmission Demonstration conducted in Hanoi, Vietnam (26, 27, 29 July). The event was jointly organised by WorldDMB and Voice of Vietnam and was supported by the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU).
