Germany: 2.7 million DAB receivers sold
10.09.2013 - GermanyDuring the Internationals Funk Ausstellung (IFA) in Berlin on Tuesday announced the sales of DAB+ receivers in Germany. Research by TNS shows that two years after the launch of DAB+ receivers are already 2.7 million in circulation. It is also expected that this year the milestone of three million receivers sold will be reached.

Italian Public Broadcaster RAI Using Own DAB Network in Rome
10.09.2013 - ItalyItalian public broadcaster RAI has its own DAB network covering Rome and environs, according to Radio.NL. Previously, it shared transmission facilities with Club DAB on channel 12C. There are three DAB networks in Italy: Euro DAB, Club DAB, and now RAI DAB. Around Rome the RAI stations are available on channel 12B (225.648MHz).
